Hebrews 11:1 - "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen...."

At times, you may feel like you have lost a little faith. Maybe it is time for you to get reconnected to the power source. God gives a measure of faith to all of us as stated in Romans 12:3. He already has a plan for your life. You have work to do for the Lord and you need faith in God to help you to successfully accomplish your mission. Don’t waste time with distractions that cause you to neglect your mission. Be deliberate about putting aside time to pray and commune with the Lord. Each day, ask God for guidance and he will provide guidance to you and direct you on the right path. You must stay focused and stay on the plan although you will face many challenges and difficult times in your life.

Faith is strong and powerful force. It will sustain you through any challenge you face, but you must put your faith in God. He is the source of our strength. Without faith you can’t please the Lord. Hebrews 11:6 states, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

Jesus told his disciples that faith moves mountains. That same life lesson applies to you today. If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can move those obstacles or things that are hindering you. Matthew 17:20 states, “And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and noting shall be impossible unto you.” You can’t continue to have mustard seed faith. You must grow in your faith. God will give you the ability to face challenges and overcome those obstacles that you though you could not defeat or conquer. As you put your total trust in God, your faith will grow in him. As you face trials, your faith will increase with each challenge you face. You may not always understand why you face certain challenges. Could it be that God wants you to press your limits to increase your faith?
